Oaklee was baptized today. The baptismal service was so special. The Spirit we all felt there was so strong, thanks to wonderful talks by Grandma Pam about baptism and by Grandma Janeen about the Holy Ghost. I know that all of the children and grandchildren of these two wonderful women will always remember the words that they shared with us today. The primary room was filled with Oaklee's friends, siblings, parents, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and one special great-grandmother. It means so much to Russ and me to know that our children are surrounded by family who love them and have such a positive influence on their lives. We are so lucky to live at this time when the fullness of the Gospel is on the earth. Our lives are filled with blessings that come from living the Gospel.
As parents, we are so proud of Oaklee and the decision she's made to become a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. We love you, Oaklee, and are grateful every day that Heavenly Father sent you to us!
