Taylor Smiff

Yesterday, while I was catching up on laundry, I needed something to entertain McKinley & Gage so that the house wouldn't be trashed by them.

So I sat them down in front of the kids' computer, turned it to CMT.com, and let them watch EVERY music video that Taylor Swift (a.k.a. Taylor Smiff, as per McKinley) has ever made. When I came back into the family room, McKinley was on vocals and Gage was the band. And while it is fairly obvious that McKinley is singing into a Barbie microphone, one might ask what Gage has chosen as his instrument of choice.
Yes, Gage is happily strumming away on his Handy Manny pliers! (Uncle Brett will have a thing or two to say about that!) So I guess maybe a guitar will be in order for his birthday in May. Then again, the pliers don't make any sound and silence is so rare in this house....
