Sledding on New Year's Day

We took advantage of all of the snow we've received this year and went to Grandma and Grandpa's for some SLEDDING fun. Grandma and Grandpa bought two new sleds this year, and we were able to hook them together behind the four-wheeler. Gage is too young to remember what sledding is about, but the girls have been BEGGING us to go. We wouldn't want to deny Grandpa his fun, either! He makes it his MISSION to dump the kids in the snow as often as he can. His laughter can be heard over the roar of the four-wheeler as each child WIPES OUT! Gentry and Oaklee would each lay on a sled and hold on for dear life. They got to be pretty good at HANGING ON! McKinley enjoyed the first few go-rounds, but then was content to ride on the wheeler or dig in the snow. Gage LOVED, LOVED, LOVED sledding! After each fall, he would get up with a smile on his face and run after the sled so he could jump back on. After the kids' snow clothes were soaked through, we went inside for some hot chocolate, courtesy of Grandma. What a fun day we had!
