Russ has been working nights for the last two weeks. I have enjoyed the fact that I haven't had to take Gage to work with me (or even get him ready in the morning, for that matter). And I have also enjoyed a clean house every day. (Seriously, he vacuumed upstairs, downstairs, AND the stairs every day ...I don't think the vacuum usually gets used that much in 2 months!) But I have really missed having him home at night. He is such a great dad. The kids mind so much better when he is home. But what I have missed the most is just spending time together as the family. So I think I'll take a messy, unvacuumed house with a husband at home any day of the week!
